Dr. Edward Lang is New Orleans’ longest-practicing podiatrist and the co-founder of New Orleans Podiatry. A graduate of Brother Martin High School, he earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine).
Board-certified in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Lang specializes in advanced surgical techniques, with a particular focus on 3D Lapiplasty® bunion correction. In 2025, he achieved Lapiplasty® Centurion Center status for completing over 100 procedures and advanced training. His approach to care is integrative, combining surgical expertise with nutrition and genomics to promote lifelong foot health.
As Managing Co-Founder of New Orleans Podiatry, Ahava leads the practice’s strategic vision, operations, and patient experience. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare practice development, she oversees project selection, workflow design, technology adoption, and physician training in advanced techniques.
With a strong research-driven background, Ahava integrates emerging evidence and innovation into clinical care while remaining deeply committed to ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
With over 20 years of experience in medical operations, insurance strategy, and revenue cycle management, Jeanne leads the practice’s day-to-day operations with precision and care. As Chief Growth Officer, Clinic Operations, she oversees billing integrity, payer relations, surgical coordination, and operational workflows to ensure seamless care from first visit through recovery.
Jeanne also serves as the practice’s Surgical Coordinator and Clinical Nutrition Specialist, supporting a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care. Known for her clarity, efficiency, and patient advocacy, she is a trusted resource for both patients and providers.
Outside the office, Jeanne is a proud mom of two and enjoys time on the water with her family in the New Orleans sunshine.
A New Orleans native, Jo-el leads the practice’s growth, brand strategy, and patient engagement initiatives. As Chief Growth Officer, Practice Development, she oversees marketing, outreach, and strategic expansion, ensuring the practice remains both deeply connected to the local community and positioned for long-term growth.
Jo-el is a graduate of Louise S. McGehee School and the University of New Orleans, where she earned her degree in marketing. Her combination of local insight and strategic vision helps shape a patient experience that is both welcoming and forward-thinking.
