The Gold Standard in Fungal Nail Therapy

We combine topical anti-fungal medications with our Nd:YAG PinPointe FootLaser,™clinically proven to eliminate toenail fungus. Topical medications kill microbes on the nail surface, while the laser targets fungus deep within the nail.

Fungal Laser Basics

Combination Therapy: Utilizing topical antifungal medications alongside the PinPointe FootLaser™ is a common strategy. Topical treatments address superficial fungal elements, while the laser targets deeper infections within the nail bed.

Clinical Evidence: Studies have demonstrated that combining laser therapy with topical antifungals can enhance treatment efficacy. For instance, a retrospective study by Weber et al., (2018) reported a mycological cure rate of 63% with one Nd:YAG laser therapy treatment alone, which increased to 86% when combined with topical treatments.

Treatment Frequency: Mild cases may require 3–4 treatments, while severe infections might need 6–8 sessions (Landsman et al., 2010).

Cost and Insurance

PinPointe FootLaser™ Treatment — $200 per session

To ensure you receive the most accurate diagnosis and a personalized plan of care, an initial consultation with Dr. Lang is required. This visit is typically covered by insurance, and for self-pay patients, the fee is $125.00. You will receive the same elevated, concierge-level support regardless of how you choose to pay.

Clean Sweep Antimicrobial Shoe Shield is recommended to help prevent reinfection by eliminating microorganisms within your footwear, supporting a more complete and lasting result. We also offer topical antifungal medications, both prescription and in-office options, and can guide you toward high-quality, cost-effective pharmacy alternatives.

Laser therapy for fungal nails is considered a cosmetic service and is not covered by insurance; however, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) may be used to help offset the cost of treatment.
